Without a doubt, I should be studying right now. Instead, I am looking at Metacritic's best and worst albums of the past 7 years. For research... yes, that's it... research into quantitative methods: Metacritic compiles reviews based on a score out of 100, for albums that have been reviewed by at least seven different newspapers, print and online magazines, since the year 2000.

The top 3 worst albums of the last 7 years should come as no surprise:

  1. Kevin Federline - Playing with Fire (2006) ... 15%
  2. Bloodhound Gang - Hefty Fine (2005) ... 28%
  3. Limp Bizkit - Results May Vary (2003) ... 33%

Curiously, the album art reveals that you can indeed judge something by its cover:
