I guess it's strange writing about someone who is, as I type, sitting upstairs... But it's her birthday tomorrow, and if I can't tell the internet these things, then who can I tell?
Efrath is amazing. Truly.
I have spent the past two months with her 24/7. More time together in one period than I have ever spent, ever ever, in my entire life with one single person, including my parents, including boyfriends, etc.
Probably more time together then two human beings SHOULD spend only with each other - especially in a foriegn country that can be SO frustrating and confusing at times.
I know for a fact that I can be moody, overtalkative, silent, have annoying quirks, demanding, obsessive/compulsive, among many other faults, some, probably I haven't even recognized.
But she has consistently been the best friend and companion and co-worker any human being could ever ask for.
I can't even imagine being here with any other person except for her.
In sum, I am incredibly lucky to know such an amazing woman.
I hope she has the greatest birthday ever and that I can at least begin to express (though I know it will be super-embarassing, maybe I should get drunk first) how incredible she is.
The end.
If you do please let me know how that goes....;o)
ReplyDeleteOn a serious note - isnt it amazing how random ppl in your life can make so much of an impact? I mean you wouldn't have thought 3 months ago that you would find such a friend and yet there she is - walks into your life and makes a difference. I being very philosophical these days...hmmm
