Fake Japanese

In my next life, given a choice, there are other shoes I'd like to fill. For example, I would like to be:
  • A sick female hip hop lyricist
  • A tree-hugging, granola-eating, commune-living, earth mother
  • An artist, maybe a non-commercial graphic artist, possibly a starving artist, that specializes in subversive, guerilla, underground shit
  • Japanese
Is it strange to wish you were another race?

Anyhoo, I'm really enjoying this British pop trio, who masquerade as a Japanese pop duo under the moniker, Fujiya & Miyagi.

We are just pretending to be Ja-PON-ese.

P.S. Their album borrows its name from one of my favourite authors. Hot.

  1. I read a few books about White Privilege. It was my major. Thanks for reading my blogs. Especially the last one you commented on. It was pretty long. I didn't even realize I had comments. Blogger doesn't notify me. Bastards. I've had my blog for about, damn... since 2003. It's always had a political spice to it, but a lot of the times it was me getting drunk and typing shit. As for it being weird to want to be another... ethnicity. Not at all. For me, I want to travel and see how people live. Travel. One day I'll be able to live California.
