UnDutchable

So, I have finally arrived in the Netherlands and moved in to my new apartment:


It is small - 10m2, and very plain.


But the area where I am living is very green, with lots of duck ponds... I like ducks. I live right beside the University Sport Complex which is WAY nicer that any School Gym I've ever seen. I did Palates this morning, by the way.

I bought some flowers for my room - there are flower markets everywhere here - and so cheap too! This bouquet of Gerbera Daisies cost me less that $5.















This past week, I also got a chance to visit the Hague. It was nice there, very different from Amsterdam, sort of sterile maybe. I went to the Mauritshaus, then the beach on the Northsea.
