The other day, I watched Batman Begins which is almost an awesome movie.

Sadly, there are two lines from the movie that I can't get out of my head:

Line #1
Bruce Wayne's dad to Young Bruce Wayne:
Why do we fall? So we can get back up again.

Line #2
Retarded scientologist Katie Holmes to Christian Bale/Batman:
It's not who you are underneath, but what you do that defines you.

Why am I seeking self help tips from a pulpy action trilogy prequil?

Bonne question.

Get it where you can, I say.

  1. Aha! Mystery solved. I just got my period. Boo-fucking-urns. Had to go to the drugstore and buy extra-extra-strength painkillers, but at least I know why I've been so CRAZY lately.

  3. I like the "doing" line the most.

About 2 years ago, I went fucking crazy on this schism between "being" and "doing" and I like couldn't get out of bed for a week because I was just like, fuck, what's the point of "doing" if I can't even accept who I am as a person (i.e. being). And then I thought, well maybe who I am as a person is just a collection of things that I do like brushing my teeth and walking the dog, but wait, that can't be right.

So maybe, I think this line is a lie since what you do is merely a consequence of who you ARE. And what you do gets all screwed up whenever you try to do it like well-intentioned people hurting others by accident and people with bad intentions doing nice things, like a crazy person that has child molestation fantasies but always holds doors open for old ladies.

    Phew. HAPPY LONG WEEKEND.
