My contract here ends in two weeks and I need to decide what to do for June and July, before I leave for Amsterdam in August.

I was seriously thinking of volunteering on an organic farm and I have all the contacts of Canadian organic operations, but I haven't made any calls yet. Also, I don't know where in Canada I would want to go - I am drawn to both the East and the West coast (though West coast work may be expensive due to airfare cost.)

So I made a poll so you can help me decide! (Notice there is no naked photos option)

What should Lala do when she's finished her job in June?
Work on an organic farm in Newfoundland
Work on an organic farm in British Columbia
Stay in Toronto and work at a bar to pay rent
Stay in Toronto and sleep on friends' couches and work on art project
Move to parents' cottage and restore old sailboat
Move to parents' cottage and build greenhouse
Take all her money and go to South America for two months

    I like option 8: move to Montreal and crash at Jane's place for two months!! Come on, Montreal in June and July? It's gorgeous!

    But seriously, I think all those options sound good. No matter what you decide, this will be a good transition between office life and your adventure in Amsterdam. Maybe it's best to stay in or near Toronto to maximize friend and family time before you cross the pond? (I'm sure JN and Pia agree with me on that!!)

    I truly believe happiness is a choice, even though I have to frequently remind myself of this. I'm glad my post resonated with you :)

    restore the old sail boat(make sure its big enough for friends couch) inside a greenhouse,work in Tonto to pay for supplies, sail to south america, visit peru and set up an organic farm, sail to amsterdam sell excess MaryJ in amsterdam.htink of the money saved....how is this not a good idea?
