More on Stencils

So I did it! My very first act of graffitti!

I used the stencil of the little girl and etched it in green in an alley behind my building. If I do say so, it looks amazing! And it was such a thrill!! I kept on walking back to see it, and thinking how, next time, I'll plan it out differently, go out later, when less people are around, and maybe bring someone else to hold down my stencils while I spray.

I have all these other ideas too. Like around construction sites where it says "post no bills" I can stencil on the letters, "hit", so it says "post no billshit." Yeah!!!

On another note, I found out yesterday that the Val Kilmer stencils that used to be kicking around Chinatown were put up by a design company to promote a crappy Val Kilmer movie. Boooo!!! I had illusions they were done by some subversive group of Kilmer worshipers.
